FLASH TATTOOS
Seattle, Wa (International District)
I’m a “flash only” tattooer - which means I work fairly strictly from my personal flash collection. If ya aren’t familiar with the term “Flash” - it refers to an artist’s collection of ready-made designs, drawn with the intention of being tattooed “as is”. I do stray from my flash book designs every now & then for the sake of custom gap filler, or larger scale multi-session projects (i.e. a full sleeve, full back layout, full shins, etc.) Please drop me a note before booking if that’s something you might be interested in! You can find my current collection of available flash in the navigation bar of this website. As you look through the collection - DO screenshot whatever pieces you’re most interested in. Should you proceed to the booking form, there will be an opportunity to upload an image of the design you’re feeling most pulled to - though it’s not required. You can always change your mind on design up until the moment we’re tattooin!
*** KID DRAWINGS ***
Does your kid or kid friend or past kid self make sweet drawings? have you ever thought about getting one tattooed? ITS A GREAT IDEA, YOU WON’T REGRET IT. and I’d love to do it. Drop me a note if you might be interested in this as well :)
DESIGN SPECIFICS
SIZING/PLACEMENT - There’s always flexibility when it comes to sizing and orientation of your chosen flash design. I’m happy to try on different sizes and placements day of - no need to be totally settled on a design or placement when you show up - sometimes better yet not to be.
BLACK&GRAY/COLOR - Please note I’m only tattooing in Black and Gray. I love color tattoos - I’m just not offering ‘em myself right now!
SESSION TIME - Some flash designs only take 30 minutes, some could take several hours depending on sizing and placement chosen. I’m open to doing a couple small pieces in one sitting if it fits in our time slot for the day, and am also happy to break a single piece up into multiple sessions if that seems more comfortable for you. A session for lining and a separate session for shading is sometimes the move for physical stamina reasons - and sometimes for financial rationing!
PRICING
I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure an appointment. That amount goes towards the total cost of your tattoo session day of. If I should have to cancel or reschedule our appointment for any reason on my end - your deposit will indeed be returned or transferred to another date. You’ll be prompted to make that deposit online when booking an appointment here.
REGULAR TATTOO APPOINTMENT:
I charge $200 an hour and do not accept monetary tips. The amount stated at the end of our session is the flat rate. I hope this keeps some uncertainty out of the process for both of us! Each appointment slot allots 3 hours. I have a minimum 1 hour charge per appointment, and a maximum cap of $500 per appointment. You will be able to specify your budget within that range when filling out a booking intake form to schedule an appointment.
I am in no way offended by a tattoo budget and will let ya know what we can do within your specified range! I appreciate folks setting any money aside at all for this stuff!
When you go to book an appointment for anything that is NOT the Sunday Special, you’ll need to select “Tattoo Appointment - Deposit” when you go to book an appointment in order to see what’s available
SUNDAY SPECIAL DISCOUNT FLASH APPOINTMENT:
Sundays are set aside for specific discounted flash. These pieces have different sizing parameters than they would have if booked for a regular tattoo appointment. You can always get a design from a Sunday Special sheet on another day, it will just be charged per my regular pricing (see section above) The pieces will typically range from $100-$200, but will be more clearly specified with each flash sheet I put out. You can find the Sunday Special collections in my instagram story highlights or right here on this website. If you’d like to book a Sunday spot, you’ll need to select “Sunday Special Discount Flash” when you go to book an appointment in order to see what’s available.
APPOINTMENT PREPARATION
Feel free to bring a friend along for the session! It can be a nice comfort/distraction. But also maybe have them bring a book and a snack in case you’re rendered speechless - ‘cause it could also be a bit boring for them!
Eat a good meal and be sure you’re hydrated before your appointment. Hurts less that way!
Try to wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting some ink on in case we get messy!
If you can remember, bring a water bottle and choice snack along. Ya won’t regret it!
There’s paid parking lots surrounding the tattoo studio. That’s where I park! Sometimes you can find some street parking - though I’m not sure it’s any cheaper.
If you’re a bus person, the King Street Light Rail Station drops you two blocks from the shop! nice ‘n easy!
